The 2nd International Positive Schools and Well-Being Congress will be held in Girne/ North Cyprus on 29-31 May 2024 in cooperation with the Ministry of National Education, Cyprus International University and Tangül Ünal Çağıner Children's Aid Foundation.
The digital revolution initiated with the COVID-19 pandemic hastened the process of digitization and given rise to the notion of homo digitalus (the digital human), or the "human of the digital age." To the extent that studies and processes in virtually every discipline have become unsustainable in the absence of the digital age. Existing circumstances that support and elevate human existence may accompany certain challenges at this juncture. Positive thinking fosters a solution-focused outlook by cultivating mindfulness of the present circumstances and commencing with the potentialities. From this vantage point, "Lifelong Learning and Well-Being in a Digitalized World" has been selected as the theme of this year's Congress in support of lifelong well-being.
The Congress welcomes original scholarly research from any field of study whose objectives intersect with promoting well-being. Attendance at the congress is provided at no cost. In addition, sessions for online papers from nations other than North Cyprus will be organised for their participation. At our congress, papers will be assessed using a double-blind referee system. Sessions will be organised according to discipline and subject matter.
